I welcome you to the ministry of Snyder Avenue Congregational Church, an evangelical church located in South Philadelphia. Our congregation, although diverse in age, education, occupations, and ethnicity, is united in love for our Lord and for each other. We are a very loving, caring body of believers. Our ministry is centered on teaching the Bible as the infallible, inspired Word of God. Our statement of faith is articulated in the Westminster Confession and the Nicene Creed. |
In addition to our worship, teaching, and preaching ministries, we offer opportunities for social interaction - coffee and tea times, fellowship suppers, special programs - music education, and social services. The church maintains a food bank and clothing center and offers deacon services for individuals in need. We minister God’s love and care to the local community and beyond.
